The California Dept. of Education released its test results yesterday.

SFUSD Superintendent Garcia stated on Tuesday, “I can’t tell you any thing about the results, because they embargoed. But I can tell you that I am pleased and I have a big smile.”

Under NCLB, students are tested on English Language Arts and mathematics. Students are rated on being “advanced,” “proficient” (grade level), “basic,” “below basic” and “far below basic.” Here is the breakdown for the district. I will be posting for various schools over the next couple of days.
