2007 is almost over. And we want to wish you and yours a happy and successful 2008.
Political-wise, it should be an interesting year with a presidential election, open seats in D-1, D-3, D-9 and D-11, two open seats for SF School Board along with Jill Wynn’s and Norman Yee’s, and four spots (with one vacancy with Julio Ramos running for D-11), and a seat for the BART position.
As always, “tune in” to Leftinsf.com for all of your political news.

2008, so far, so good:

2. Federal Appeals Judge Fletcher says to the Golden Gate Restaurant Association attorneys whining about paying an employer mandate for health care: “There’s a different minimum wage law in San Francisco,” he said. “You have to pay that, too. Tough luck.”
