Did Chris Daly dictate that endorsement? He claims he can control the endorsements of all kinds of groups, including the Bay Guardian, who he spat in the face of during the primary.
Just wondering. I didn’t realize membership based organizations were required to kneel before Daly as King God Emperor.

I’m surprised that the Tenants Union only endorsed two candidates for the Board of Education. Why didn’t they at least endorse Jaynry Mak?

“Why didn’t they at least endorse Jaynry Mak?”
Probably they were upset about her scam two years ago to pass out $500 to bus boys, and then have them donate the money to her campaign.
Mak has absolutely no interest in school issues. She’s merely looking to move up to a job on the Board of Supervisors at a later date.

Picket Landlord Fundraiser & Help Prop M
Two ways to help keep rent control and make it stronger this week: A Thursday picket of a landlord fundraiser and a Saturday Prop M neighborhood literature delivery drive on Saturday.
First, three key Supervisorial races this year in swing districts will determine whether the next Board is pro-tenant pro-landlord. Current pro-tenant Supervisors McGoldrick, Peskin & Sandoval are termed out. Their districts are not safely pro-tenant and could swing either way. If we lost all three, then landlords control the Board and the Mayor’s office; even if we lose just one, it will make passing anything at the Board virtually impossible, So we need everyone’s help in keeping these seats pro-tenant.
Landlords are trying to buy these three seats and have been funneling lots of money into these districts. We want to begin highlighting how landlords are trying to buy this election with a series of pickets and other events. Please join us for the first one on Thursday as we picket a landlord fundraiser for District 3 candidate Joe Alioto Jr. Alioto does not support Prop M and is even opposed to the Prop B, the affordable housing measure. Landlord will be holding a fundraiser for him at the offices of Trinity Properties (that’s the Sangiacomo family if you don’t know) this Thursday so come join us as we picket their fundraiser: (FYI the strongest pro-tenant candidate in D3 is David Chiu)

Thursday, Sept. 18, 5:30 PM
Trinity Properties, 1145 Market St (across from Civic Center, at 7th St)
Bring signs protesting landlords’ trying to buy elections!
And, of course, landlords will be trying to use their money to defeat Prop M and maintain their ability to harass tenants from their homes. We need your help this Saturday, Sept. 20 as we continue to deliver literature door to door in key neighborhoods. We will be doing low Noe Valley this week and really need some people to help get the word out. Please join us:
