Excerpt from a website about transboys transitioning:

this is a shout out to all my mixed people, people of color, and
trans people (and anyone else) who has been made to feel that our identities & lives are too tragic and fragmented to lead with power & beauty. fuck all those out there who think we’re just gonna crawl into a corner, believe their bullshit & hate ourselves. look for me — i’ll be the one standin tall, walkin with my head up, shinin. we are capable of so much more than even WE can imagine. self love & love for community are powerful revolutionary acts. watch close as we survive and disprove each and every lie those fools tried to put on us. “

There is this guy who had top surgery the same month as I did. I feel a love for him that he will never know. He walked me through everything two weeks before it happened. So when I say brother when I talk to him, I mean it. I was scared and afraid to show it and trying to be all cool. But having a trans brother like him makes me feel love for my community, and as noted above, that is a powerful revolutionary act.

Anyway, today I was talking to him about something and he directed me to this website of a French photographer. The website has pictures of xxboys transitioning. On my browser, I had to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the pictures. The website is http://xxboys.20six.fr or click here to check it out. And to all my trans brothers and sisters out there, I hope you commit powerful revolutionary acts today.
